- 1 or 2 lb. beef, cut in small cubes
- 4 medium potatoes, cut up
- 8 medium carrots, cut up
- 3 stalks celery, cut up
- 1 onion, chopped
Directions

1Put all ingredients in small roasting pan.

2Sprinkle 2 tablespoons tapioca over.

3Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar over.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Pour one can tomato soup over; add one can water.

6Cover; put in oven and cook for 5 hours at 250° to 300°. May be uncovered the last 1/2 hour.
