Chocolate Surprise Cake

   Heat oven to 350°.

   Butter and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan.

   Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

   Add egg and vanilla.

   Set aside.

   Prepare cake mix as directed.

   Fold in chocolate bits. Pour cake mix in pan.

   Evenly cover with cream cheese mixture. Bake about 45 to 55 minutes.

   Cream cheese mixture will form a filling in the center of cake as it bakes.

    May serve with whipped cream or just dust with confectioners sugar.
