Ingredients: 1 box chocolate cake mix (any kind); 1 large family size box chocolate pudding (not instant); 1 large size milk chocolate chips, or dark chocolate, sweet (do not use semi-sweet); chopped pecans

1 large family size box chocolate pudding (not instant)
1 large size milk chocolate chips, or dark chocolate, sweet (do not use semi-sweet)

Directions

Make pudding according to package directions.

Let cool for a few minutes but do not let it get thick and set.

Mix cake mix into pudding mix (do not follow directions on cake mix box).

Mix well with a spoon, not with an electric mixer.

Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

Sprinkle chocolate chips all over cake, then sprinkle pecans over the chips. Put into oven and bake according to directions on cake mix box.
