  • 1 5/8 cups self-rising flour
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg whisked
  • salt
  • 1 orange juice
  • powdered sugar to taste

Directions

    Sift the flour and cocoa powder into a bowl.

    Add the sugar and butter, and hand mix to a crumbly dough.

    Add the whisked egg, a pinch of salt, and the orange juice. Stir well.

    Cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

    Shape small balls, and space them out on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Bake for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool, and sprinkle with a little more powdered sugar.
