- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
- 1 (2 layer) pkg. German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
- 1 c. or 2 sticks margarine
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Sprinkle pecans and coconut in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as per package directions.

2Spoon over nuts and coconut.

3Combine remaining ingredients in mixer bowl until smooth.

4Spoon evenly over cake, leaving 1-inch edge.

5Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.

6Cream cheese mixture will sink to bottom to form frosting.

7Cool in pan.

8Cut into squares.
