Chocolate Walnut Squares

Ingredients

• Base layer
• 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
• 1/3 cup packed brown sugar (I use sugar twin brown)
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• Middle layer
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 cup packed brown sugar or 1 cup brown Sugar Twin
• 3 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 tablespoon flour
• 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1 cup coconut
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• Top layer Icing
• 1 1/4 cups icing sugar
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine
• 1 tablespoon coffee or 1 tablespoon water, plus
• 2 teaspoons coffee or 2 teaspoons water
• 1 whole halved walnuts, to place on iced squares
