Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pork roast (no more)
  • 1 lb. pinto beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. cumin seed or powder
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. hot sauce (picante or Tabasco, etc.)
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Put pork roast and pinto beans in large pot and cover with water.

    Add remaining ingredients.
  3. 3
    Cook at least 8 hours over low heat.
  4. 4
    Serve in individual bowls over corn chips or Doritos or Fritos.

    On top, put grated cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped onion and hot sauce.
