Ingredients

  • 1 lb. raw bean sprouts
  • 6 large stalks celery
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 small can mushroom pieces
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 lb. raw shrimp (any meat)
  • 2 Tbsp. crushed garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. crushed ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cornstarch in 1/4 c. water

    In a Dutch oven, bring water to a boil.

    After rinsing off sprouts, simmer for ten minutes.

    Bias cut celery and onions into semi-large pieces.

    Add to sprouts and simmer another five minutes.

    While you are cooking the vegetables, cut meat into whatever size pieces you desire.
