- 3 lb. pork butt roast
- 2 large onions
- 3 c. celery
- 1 can mushrooms or 4 fresh ones
- 1 Tbsp. bead molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 2 cans water chestnuts
- 2 oz. cornstarch
Directions

1Cut pork in small pieces and place in small amount of oil on stove in large heavy pan with salt and pepper.

2Cook slow until juice is drawn out (do not brown).

3Cover and cook about 40 minutes.

4Add celery and soy sauce; cook 20 minutes.

5Add onions and cook 10 minutes.

6Add mushrooms and cook another 10 minutes. Add cornstarch and bring to boil; add beans sprouts and water chestnuts.

7Cook slowly until juice is clear.
