- 1 lb. lean beef, cubed
- 1 lb. lean pork, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 c. celery, coarsely diced
- 1 1/2 c. onions, coarsely diced
- 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Brown meat in fat.

2Add celery, onions, soy sauce and water. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.

3Add 2 cans drained bean sprouts, 1 can sliced water chestnuts and 1 can sliced mushrooms.

4Thicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch.

5Serve over cooked rice or Chinese noodles.
