  • round steak, cut into squares
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

    Tenderize meat.

    Put butter in pan and cook meat 10 to 15 minutes.

    Add onion and celery. Stir in soy sauce and water.

    Add sugar and cornstarch and stir until thick.

    More cornstarch can be added to thicken gravy.

    Serve over rice.
