- 1/2 lb. veal, cubed
- 1/2 lb. beef, cubed
- 5 strips bacon, diced
- 3 large onions, cubed
- 3 green peppers, cubed
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 can tomatoes
- salt
- 1 can chop suey vegetables (large)
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1 can mushrooms
Directions

1Fry meat and bacon; add onions and green pepper.

2Fry until brown (lightly).

3Add celery, tomatoes, salt to taste and enough water to cover.

4Let simmer until meat is almost done.

5Add suey vegetables, molasses, Worcestershire sauce and mushrooms, cut fine.

6Cook 1 hour; thicken slightly (cornstarch and water).
