- 5 or 6 pork chops
- 1 tsp. shortening
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 to 5 c. boiled rice
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Brown chops on both sides.

2Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and water.

3Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until chops are tender.

4Place rice in center of platter and arrange chops around rice.

5Pour tomatoes over chops and rice.
