- 2 qt. green tomatoes, chopped
- 1 qt. onion, chopped
- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 1 qt. green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. pickling spices, tied up in cheesecloth
Directions

1Mix first four vegetables.

2Sprinkle 2 tablespoons salt over and let stand 2 to 3 hours.

3Mix well again.

4Squeeze out vegetables (by hand).
