- 4 c. chopped cabbage
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. chopped green sweet peppers
- 2 c. chopped green tomatoes
- 1/2 c. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 4 c. vinegar
Directions

1Wash and drain vegetables.

2Peel onions; remove seed from peppers.

3Chop and measure all vegetables.

4Dissolve salt in 8 cups water.

5Pour over vegetables and let stand one hour.

6Drain.

7(If too salty, rinse and drain again.)

8Mix vegetables with sugar, seed and vinegar.

9Simmer 20 minutes.

10Bring to a boil.

11Pack, boiling hot, into hot jars; seal at once.
