Ingredients
- 1 peck green tomatoes (12.5 lb.)
- 10 to 12 medium sized onions
- 6 to 8 red sweet peppers
- 1/2 c. prepared horseradish
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1/2 pt. vinegar
- 3 to 4 c. sugar
- 1 small head green cabbage
- 6 to 8 green sweet peppers
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
- 1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 pt. water
Directions

1Slice tomatoes and peppers; add salt and let sit overnight. Drain, but do not wash.

2Grind all these ingredients; put in a kettle with all other ingredients except sugar.

3The juice should just cover the top.

4Add the sugar to taste.

5Simmer about 5 minutes after the mixture comes to a boil.

6Seal in prepared sterile jars.
