Ingredients

  • 2 qt. chopped cabbage
  • 1 qt. chopped green tomatoes
  • 6 large onions, chopped
  • 6 large chopped green peppers
  • 4 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 Tbsp. white mustard seed
  • 2 lb. sugar and salt
  • vinegar to cover, about 8 c.

Directions

    Put each vegetable into separate bowl and sprinkle a small amount of salt over each.

    Let stand 4 hours.

    Press juice from each vegtetable and combine together with dry ingredients.
