- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 12 teaspoon dried basil
Directions

1Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.

2Mix together the ground beef, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and basil.

3Divide into four balls, and flatten into patties.

4Make a thumb imprint in the middle of each patty so they cook level.

5Cook the patties for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness.

6The internal temperature should be at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

7Remove from grill and place onto hamburger buns.

8Top with desired toppings and condiments.
