  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. finely chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, water and salt.

    Sift flour.

    Add pecans and flour to butter mixture.

    Roll batter into small balls. Bake at 325° for 20 minutes.

    Roll in powdered sugar while hot. Cool and store in airtight containers.

    Freezes very well.
