Christmas Bubble Bread

Ingredients
- 1 14 cups warm milk
- 1 egg
- 14 cup soft butter
- 3 cups flour
- 13 cup sugar (optional) or 13 cup Splenda granular (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup dried cranberries
- 12 cup golden raisin
- 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- melted butter
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Pour your milk into a medium size saucepan.

2Add the soft butter and heat till the butter is melted.

3Pour the milk and the melted butter into a large bowl.

4Check the temperature of the milk.

5You want it to be between 100 and 110.

6Take your room temperature egg and brake it into a small bowl.

7With a fork, beat the egg and add it to the milk mixture.
-
8Add about 1 cup of flour and mix together with a wooden spoon.
-
9Add in the instant dry yeast and the ground cinnamon to the mixture.

10Using the wooden spoon beat till well blended.

11Add in the sugar and salt.
-
12Mix together.
-
13Add the rest of the flour and mix.

14Place dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead the dough.

15Using the palm of your hands, push the dough away with a rolling motion.

16Fold the dough back toward yourself.

17Then give the dough a quarter turn.

18Continue this sequence of pushing, folding and turning.

19Knead the dough for about 6-8 minutes.

20Adding flour as you need it.

21After pour a little oil into a clean bowl.

22Place the kneaded dough into the bowl and give it a turn to coat all sides of the dough.

23Cover with plastic wrap and allow to bulk up to double it's size.

24This will take about 1 hour.

25After the dough has doubled in bulk, pour out onto a lightly floured surface.

26Flatten the dough and add the cranberries and the golden raisins.

27Knead the dough till the dried fruit is evenly spread throughout the dough.

28Shape the dough into a rectangle.

29Cut the dough with a sharp knife into three equal sizes.

30After you cut the dough into three equal parts.

31Cut each piece of dough in half again.

32Then cut each piece again in half.

33You should end up with 12 equal size pieces.

34Grease a 9 x 9 square pan.

35Roll each dough into a ball and place them into the pan 4 down 3 across.

36Cover the dough with plastic wrap once again.

37Allow to double in size.
-
38This will take about 1 hour.

39Place pan into a preheated 350F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

40Or, till a thermometer is placed into the center of the bread in the middle and the temperature reads between 190 - 200.

41Remove from pan.
-
42While the bread is still hot brush with melted butter.
-
43As soon as you brush the melted butter on the top of the bread.
-
44Immediately tap a layer of powder sugar over the top with a sieve or sifter.

45Enjoy this wonderful bread.
