- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. fryer chicken, cut up and skinned
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel
- 3/4 c. orange juice
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Coat chicken pieces with flour and salt.

2Melt butter in skillet.

3Place chicken in skillet; turn once.

4Separately, combine all other ingredients in a saucepan.

5Bring to a boil. Pour mixture over chicken in skillet.

6Cover and cook over low heat for 35 to 40 minutes, until chicken is tender.

7Serves 4 nicely.
