  • 1 c. Crisco or butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. sifted pastry flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. broken walnuts
  • 2/3 c. chopped white raisins
  • 1 c. shredded coconut

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

    Beat in eggs one at a time.

    Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Blend in vanilla, nuts and coconut.

    Chill dough for 1 hour.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Makes about 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
