- 1 pt. shucked oysters with juice
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. half and half
- generous dash of white or black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Slowly heat oysters and butter in saucepan until edges of oysters start to curl.

2At the same time, heat milk and half and half in another pan until small bubbles start to form around outside edge of milk.

3(Do not boil.)

4Combine milk, pepper and oysters and heat through.

6Salt to taste and serve with crackers.
