  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. red hots candies
  • 8 Jonathan apples, peeled and cored
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. cream
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Make syrup of sugar, water and candies.

    Place apples in the syrup when it begins to boil and remove them when liquid is clear red.

    Don't turn apples too much or overcook.

    Cool in refrigerator.

    Combine the stuffing ingredients; add pecans and fill apples.
