- 3 to 4 lb. roast beef (chuck)
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 large onion, sliced
- flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown meat in greased skillet after dredging with flour, salt and pepper.

2Place browned meat in pot for oven.

3Top with onion slices and 1 tablespoon catsup.

4Bake 1/2 hour covered.

5Take onion off and, after turning, replace onion on top.

6Put other tablespoon catsup on top.

7Cover with lid or foil.

8Cook until tender at 300°, turning often.
