Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. lean boneless beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 c. water
- 1 c. ketchup
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1/8 tsp. celery salt
- 1 (17 oz.) can English peas, drained
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook beef in hot oil in a large Dutch oven until brown.

2Add remaining ingredients, except peas.

3Bring to a boil.

4Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in peas and cook an additional 10 minutes.

5Yields 6 to 8 servings.
