- 2 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup Crisco
- 34 cup milk
Directions

1Mix flour and baking powder.

2Cut in butter with fork or pastry cutter (or hands :).

3Use a fork to beat in milk gradually to form a ball.

4On a lightly floured surface, flatten dough to 3/4 inch.

5Using a biscuit cutter or small rimmed glass dipped in flour, cut out biscuits.

6Place biscuits on cookie tray or baking stone and bake at 425 for approx 8-10min (top will golden slightly).
