Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 1/2 oz. pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
  • milk, room temperature (for pudding)
  • 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, separated
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • about 6 c. flour
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 4 tsp. cinnamon

    In a bowl, combine water, yeast and sugar.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Set aside.

    In a large bowl, prepare pudding mix according to pkg. directions, using room temperature milk.

    Add 1/2 c. melted butter, eggs and salt.

    Mix well.

    Combine with yeast mixture, mixing well.

    Gradually add flour, kneading as you would any yeast dough.

    Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until about doubled.

    Punch down and let rise again.
