- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. Karo syrup
- 2 c. peanuts, shelled (uncooked)
- 1 tsp. soda
Directions

1Place sugar, Karo and peanuts in a 2 1/2-quart heavy pan. Cook on high heat, stirring constantly until hard crack (300°) or until syrup turns light amber.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir in soda, beating rapidly until well mixed (about 10 seconds).

4Pour onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet.

5Do not spread or break.

6Let cool. Break into pieces, then call me.
