- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. margarine
- 3 egg yolks at room temperature
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- melted margarine
Directions

1Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, salt and yeast.

2Heat milk, water and 1 cup margarine to 120° to 130°.

3Add yolks and 1/2 cup flour.

4Beat on high for 2 minutes.

5Stir in more flour to make stiff batter.

6Cover bowl tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

7Combine the last 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.

8Turn dough out on floured board and roll into six ropes (18-inches long).

9Braid three ropes together.

10Seal ends firmly.

11Place on greased baking sheet.

12Do the last three ropes.

13Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

14Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour).

15Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes.
