Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 2 packs yeast
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 c. plain flour
  • 1 Tbsp. cinnamon (more, if needed)

Directions

    Mix all together and let rise double. Dump out on floured paper and knead until fluffy.

    Roll out like pie crust.

    Spread melted margarine on dough.

    Roll up and cut into buns about 1/2-inch thick.

    Put in greased pan and let rise again. Bake at about 350°.

    Top with icing made from powdered sugar and a little margarine

    while hot.
