  • 5 qt. popped corn
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 c. red hots
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix sugar, oleo, syrup, salt and red hots. Cook 5 minutes or until red hots dissolve.

    Add soda and stir well.

    Pour over popped corn. Bake in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread out and cool.
