- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1In a small bowl sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; set aside.

2In a large bowl, cream shortening and 3/4 cup sugar until light and fluffy.

3Add 1/2 of the flour mixture; mix after each addition.

4Form rounded teaspoons of dough into a ball and roll in sugar.

5Place on greased baking sheets then flatten into 1/8 inch thick circle.

6Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until light brown.

7Cool on wire racks.

8Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
