- 12 lb filberts (hazelnuts)
- 1 egg white
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 14 cup margarine
Directions

1Toast filberts in shallow pan at 325, 10 minutes.

2Beat egg white until foamy.

3Add sugar and cinnamon gradually and beat until stiff.

4Add nuts and mix well.

5Melt margarine in shallow pan.

6Spread nut mixture over butter.

7Bake at 325 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

8Store in airtight container.
