- 2/3 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. hot water
- 8 drops oil of cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. red food coloring
Directions

1Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in a saucepan.

2Place over medium heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

3Cook to hard crack stage without stirring.

4Wipe crystals from sides of pan frequently with a fork wrapped in a damp cloth, or place lid on pan and let steam dissolve the crystals.

5(Be careful that candy does not boil over.)

6Remove from heat.

7Add coloring and flavoring.

8Stir only to mix.

9Drop by teaspoon on well-buttered flat surface.

10Insert skewers, or pour candy on wooden sticks.

11Makes 6 to 9 lollipops. Wrap in waxed paper.
