- 6 to 7 ripe pears
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Peel and slice pears.

3Toss with next 4 ingredients.

4In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and egg.

5Place pears in 9-inch square baking dish.

6Cover with topping and drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine.

7Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until fruit is cooked and crust is golden brown.
