- 2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 5 cups peeled, cored and sliced pears tossed in 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (about 6 pears)
- 1 baked 9 inch pie shell
Directions

1For pie, blend together cornstarch, sugars, cinnamon, and allspice in large mixing bowl.

2Add pears with any accumulated liquid.

3Toss gently and pour in pie shell.

4For topping, blend together ingredients and cut butter into mixture until it resembles a very course meal.

5Cover pie with streusel.

6Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
