  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

    Mix first 3 items together and let come to a boil.

    Set aside.

    Cream the next 7 items together.

    Mix with first ingredients.

    (If too stiff, add small amount milk.)

    Pour into pan.

    Pour syrup mixture on top.

    Do not mix.

    Cover with nuts. Cook at 350° until done.
