- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 1/4 c. very hot tap water
Directions

1Mix yeast with 2 cups flour, sugar and salt.

2Add margarine, then tap water.

3Beat 2 minutes on medium speed (#6 on mixer). Add 1 cup flour.

4Beat on high speed until thick and elastic for about 2 minutes.

5Turn off mixer.
