  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. oleo
  • 4 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. oleo, softened
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine water, 1/2 cup milk and 1/3 cup oleo in a saucepan over medium heat; cook until oleo melts, stirring occasionally. Let mixture cool to 125° to 130°.

    Combine 3 cups flour and next 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

    Gradually add milk mixture to flour mixture, beating at low speed with an electric mixer. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

    Gradually add 1 additional cup of flour, beating 2 minutes.

    Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
