- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- about 8 c. flour
Directions

1Mix the yeast, warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar in a small glass bowl; set aside (do not use plastic!).

2Mix 1 cup sugar, margarine, salt and boiling water together until margarine melts. Add the cold water and beaten eggs to the sugar-water mixture. When cool, add yeast mixture.

3Adding about 1 1/2 cups at a time, sift about 8 cups of flour into yeast mixture.

4Dough will be slightly sticky.

5Oil dough and let rise double.

6Punch down; let rise a second time.

7Punch down and roll out onto floured board.
