Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 c. warm milk
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. instant Potato Buds
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast, soaked in 1/4 c. warm water and 1 tsp. sugar
  • 6 to 7 c. flour
  • 5 Tbsp. Crisco or margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Add Potato Buds to milk and water mixture.

    Melt shortening and add to milk mixture.
  3. 3
    Put in some of the flour; stir and add sugar, salt, yeast and egg, then the remaining flour.

    Let rise once and knead down.

    Make into rolls by rolling out dough.

    Brush with melted margarine and cinnamon.

    Cut and place in 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
