Marinated Carrots

  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 lb. carrots, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

Directions

    Boil carrots in salted water until tender; drain and add green peppers.

    Set aside.

    Mix rest of ingredients.

    Bring to boil; cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Pour over carrots and pepper.

    Let stand until cool.

    Refrigerate until ready to use. May be kept several weeks.
