  • 3 pkg. Fleischmann's dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm (not hot) water
  • 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 to 6 c. Gold Medal flour
  • 1 lb. butter (to spread on rolled dough and use in icing)
  • cinnamon
  • sugar
  • raisins (optional)
  • 2 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 to 3 tsp. milk
  • 2 to 3 tsp. Eagle Brand milk

    Mix well.

    If too thick, add a little more milk; if too thin, add powdered sugar until stiff, but spreadable.

    Spread over warm rolls.
