- 8 slices bacon
- 1 small onion, diced fine
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 3 c. warm milk
- 2 (10 oz.) cans baby clams
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon and put into a deep, heavy pot.

3Add onion; cook until transparent but not brown.

4Add water and potatoes; bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes.

6Add milk, clams, 1 can clam liquid, salt and pepper. Heat just to boiling.

7Season to your taste.

8Makes approximately 8 cups.
