- 1 c. finely diced celery
- 2 generous c. finely diced potatoes
- 3/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 qt. dairy half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. white wine (optional)
Directions

1Drain juice from clams and add to vegetables in small saucepan.

2Add enough water to barely cover vegetables.

3Simmer, covered, until just tender.
