- 4 Tbsp. diced bacon (or 4 Tbsp. butter)
- 4 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook bacon slowly in a Dutch oven until fat begins to fry out. Add minced onion and cook over low heat until onion turns yellow.

2Add liquid from the 2 cans of clams, potatoes and boiling water.

3Cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes.

4Just before serving, add clams, milk, salt and pepper.

5Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

6Serve immediately.
