- 1 pt. clams
- 1/4 c. salt pork or bacon, chopped
- 1/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. clam liquid (add water to make 1 c.)
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Drain clams, save liquid and chop clams.

2Fry salt pork or bacon until lightly brown. Add onion and cook until tender.

3Add liquid, potatoes and seasonings.

4Cook 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Add milk and heat thoroughly, but don't boil.

5Stir in chopped clams and warm gently, 2 to 5 minutes.
