- 4 strips bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 can clams
- 4 or 5 diced potatoes
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/2 c. half and half
Directions

1Fry bacon and onion.

2Drain one can clams.

3Reserve clams and add enough water to juice to make 2 cups.

4Add this to bacon and onions.

5Also add diced potatoes and grated carrot.

6Add salt and celery salt.

7Cook until potatoes are tender.

8Mix cornstarch with half and half.

9Add to soup mixture.
-
10Stir until it thickens a little.

11Add clams.
