- 2 small cans minced clams
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 3/4 c. butter
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1In a large pot, put clams, vegetables and clam juice.

2Barely cover with water. Simmer 20 minutes. While that is cooking, take the butter and melt. Add the flour and blend.

3Add the milk, salt, pepper and sugar. Cook like a white sauce and add to clam mixture.

4Cook slowly until thick.
